For this "I am The Diva" Challenge, we are asked to create a Tile using only two Patterns, "Dex, and Bunzo." Dex is a grid pattern, and Bunzo is free flowing pattern. It was fun letting Bunzo play around with a distorted limited-grid version of Dex.
A very happy Birthday to Laura Harms.
Thanks to everyone for the wonderful comments left on last weeks Challenge.

RED my favorite color, makes the Bunzo pop even more
ReplyDeleteI love everything about this! The way you distorted Dex looks great, and the red really makes everything pop. Nice work.
ReplyDeleteIt's good to have you back, David. Everything on this tile lifts off from the red and the aura around Bunzo is a stroke of genius.Love it.
ReplyDeleteDelightful! You definitely succeeded with the playful bunzo! Very nicely done.
ReplyDeleteI think that you showed how unlimited Dex really is by distorting the grid line. I really like how your tile flows.
ReplyDeleteI love your "crawling" Bunzo. So unique :)
ReplyDeleteLovely tile, David! You made Bunzo flow nicely through Dex. The red background gives your tile that extra touch.
ReplyDeleteVery nice tile, David :)
ReplyDeleteWow, great tile David, how you let the bunzo worms glide through dex, with the little red on the background! Awesome!
ReplyDeleteDavid, this is just fabulous! I love how it creeps and crawls around the tile having all kinds of fun!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on attending the CZT Seminar, I feel you have been part of our group for a long time already. Your Dex is a powerful construction with bunzo worms infiltrating.
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThe little bit of red is the perfect accent to the bunzo flowing around your Dex. I love the way the Dex lifts up - great shading and nice composition. Great!
ReplyDeleteInteresting oozing bunzos!
ReplyDeleteWonderful tile! Like your flowing Bunzo and the red accents!
ReplyDeleteThe Dex is positioned so beautifully on the tile and the red highlights that Bunzo so well!
ReplyDeleteWow! The red really makes this tile pop. Like how you incorporated Dex in the tile.
ReplyDeleteI love the red accents in your tile, David!
ReplyDeleteStunning! Axxx
ReplyDeleteLove the added red in there!! That lil' touch of color you do always adds some life to your tiles!! So glad to see you back on the Diva's challenges! You are continually in my thought and prayers!!
ReplyDeleteHey, so how was CZT class? Congratulations!!! I hope it was everything you wanted in it! I go in June for the CZT20. Any words of advice? I just loved the top hat you wore in the group photo. (that was you right?) :0) Have a fabulous day!!
Words of advice? Be prepared to be wowed. Meeting Rick and Maria is awesome. The Seminar is top notch. The instruction is very impactful, and the Hotel staff are wonderful. Also be prepared to meet the most beautiful, intelligent, artistic, and friendly pre-CZT folks you could ever imagine. Of course by the end of the last day, all of your brand new friends, and you, will be full-fledged, bonified, authentic CZT's.You are going to absolutely love it Annette. My thoughts will be with you. I am so glad that you will be attending CZT #20. (And yes, that duffus in the hat is me. That would be very cool if they picked you to wear it in your class picture. You would give it back its distinction.)
DeleteI love the colour in your tile David, it's stunning. I'm also at CZT 20 and coming from the UK - I'm very excited to be going and your words make it more so!! See you there Annette.
DeleteDavid, your Bunzo look like they are having a great time crawling amongst the Dex. I love how the red just 'pops' everything out and makes it so much more dimensional.
ReplyDeleteI love the 3D effect! Very beautyfull!
ReplyDeleteThe signature red is back. Love the distorted Dex and the traveling Bunzo. What a fun tile.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back, David. I thought of you every Monday during your absence. I missed two weeks of posting challenge tiles because of my travels.Your composition with Bunzo and Dex is playful and inspired and showcases your mastery of both tangles.
ReplyDeleteI love everything about this tile: the symmetry of the dex balanced against the meandering bunzo, the shading which is perfect, and the red accent that makes the whole thing pop! Awesome.
ReplyDeleteYour bunzo flows and crawls betweed the beautiful form of Dex. Aussom done. I love it !
ReplyDeleteGreat idea and combination of the two tangles and red is my favorite too!
