1-Diva Dance by Zentangle and
2-Phi-Cops by B-Rad.
This challenge was a challenge for me. This one took more time than privious challenges. It was a fun challenge and I finally finished it, by which I mean I stopped before I started making it worse.
My Tile size: 3.5 x 3.5 inches.
Thanks to everyone who so graciously left comments on last weeks Challenge.

Very nice! I love the touches of colour :)
ReplyDeleteI like the bits of color too. It adds that little something extra to your tiles.
ReplyDeleteWow, I like your phicops snake-thing, with the eyes... Reallly creative way to put phicops in thes shape!
ReplyDeleteAre those eyes? I think they're eyes. Are they looking at me? I'm not sure I'm comfortable with that. Crrreeeeepy good, man.
ReplyDeleteHey, did you take the white dots out of the phicops eyes? I was kidding about being uncomfortable. Honest.
DeleteGreat stuff, looks really good!
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing tile! There's a whole under sea story going on there! Love those eyes but like Duchess, I'm happy to see it's focused on the phicopsy shell. Someone is going to get eaten up! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tile, David :) I like your Phicops variation :)
ReplyDeleteThis is a really imagintive tile. The alien insect is, I admit, a bit scary but I think maybe underneath he's a sweetie. The quality of the draughtmanship is amazing and, as always, you use colour to great effect. Good work, David.
ReplyDeleteI love the way you did this challenge, The colors are great,
ReplyDeleteIt makes me think of a sea-animal in the water.
very nice, i just really like your art to tangle. have a nice week.
ReplyDeleteLove the way you used diva dance, so flowing, and the additions of patterns to Phicops.
ReplyDeletelove your tangle. I like the way it seems all wild and woolly. (the diva dancd looks like eyes ). the colour is great.
ReplyDeleteWell, David, I like the way you show these two tangles!!!
ReplyDeletecool, the way you played with your phicops. I like the patterns and colors inside the "shells" and the lovely watery feel of the diva dance. :) nicely done!
ReplyDeleteLike the Phicops variation and the touch of color.
ReplyDeleteI didn't see the eyes until I read the comments. Imaginative response to the Diva's challenge.
ReplyDeletewait...You're in Salt Lake? Dang, I've been seeing a lot of salt lake bloggers in this zentangle community. We should try to get together. I'd love to meet some fellow tanglers!
ReplyDeleteWunderschöne, sehr inspirierende Zeichnung!
ReplyDeleteI like the use of color at this tangles
ReplyDeleteVery nice tile, David. I love the touch of color.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful drawing. I love the "monster" coming out of the lake (can I call it Nessie?). And the color touches add character and depth.
ReplyDeleteYou have such a unique style David, love the touch of colour you add here and there - looks like a creature from long ago - fabulous :)
ReplyDeleteWell done, it looks so organic and the colors are great!
