Last weeks "Mouse" caper has been resolved. There is a new mouse in town. The old mouse did receive it's much deserved Lobotomy and is resting comfortably at an undisclosed rest home in a small town that is yet to be hooked up to the modern day power grid.
Thanks to everyone who commented on my Challenge #180 last week.

I like the way you use red in most of your tangles. Beautiful tile.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great tile. I love the droplets in the middle and the small amounts of blue R.I.P. mouse.
ReplyDeleteI really like the way you ran a ribbon through your tile! The red really stands out. Very nice work!
ReplyDeleteHappy tangling,

There's a lot of movement in a small space and water represented or hinted at by so many tangles. It's a complex tile, this one and a clever one. Needless to say, I like it very much.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to echo Maggibee's words, this tile has so much going on...subtle forms of water and a great choice of tangles. Glad you've sorted out your mouse. Probably not worth getting too sentimental over it. Axxx
ReplyDeleteSo snazzy!
ReplyDeleteDiva Dance is perfect for the water in this ZT.
ReplyDeleteAlso love the red ribbon !
Oh David, I've run out of superlatives!
ReplyDeleteI love this tile! I looks like a big beautiful wave of water! Very nice!
ReplyDeleteLove this and the little red ribbon winding through. Great textures and shading. So glad I reread your post from last week before I called the ASPCA or mouseketters or, oh, never mind :)
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing, so full of energy! Great!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful composition, David.
ReplyDeleteThis was fun to look at. A lot going on without being cluttered. I think the red just pulls it all together and the hint of blue is perfect as a water reference.
ReplyDeleteIt's like an underwater cavern, so much detail, love the subtle touch of blue and then the loud splash of red! Linda
ReplyDeleteLove the way the ribbon and the diva dance move your eye through this piece! Lovely work, with this "water"
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous tile! Especially I like your way of using the tanges here! The red ribbon is great!
ReplyDeleteVery nice selection of tangles. And I love the way those droplets are happily dancing in the middle :)
ReplyDeleteI like this a lot! It is what a space explorer would have for a cocktail at The End of the Universe Lounge...It's bubbly and ice cold looking! The little squiggly dudes in the center are charming. Lots of fun, I could look at it for a long time.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful job on this week's theme! Your red ribbon is a gorgeous touch! Beautiful job!!! Have a wonderful weekend! :0) Share humanity
ReplyDeleteThis tile is quite interesting and holds some great chosen tangles. I love the shading, even the tile itself!!!
ReplyDeleteLove how you connect all the different tangles together with the red ribbon - great idea! Very nice shadows!
ReplyDeleteI really like this tile. My first thoughts were similar to bornagaincrafter's in that it reminded me of a cavern. Like the tingle of blue in this. This is a very effective technique I think I over look at times.
ReplyDeleteVery nice tile! I love how you highlighted with color, and didn't only stick with the expected blue, but added a bit of nautical red.
ReplyDeleteGreat tile with lots of things happening in it.
ReplyDeleteI kept looking at your drawing, finding more and more angles to it.
ReplyDeleteThe flowing water, the inner "droplets", the bold ribbons, the patterns, the depth.
Beautifully done !
Wow! This is an amazing tile! You captured this week's challenge perfectly! I love the combination of tangles you used as well! Beautifully drawn, shaded, and the touches of color are spot on!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for visiting my entry, and leaving a comment! That was so kind!
